Empire Farm Days returns to Palladino Farms

Category:

Empire Farm Days (EFD), the premier summer farm show for New York State, is back! The show will be open Tuesday, Aug. 2 and Wednesday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

EFD features hundreds of ag exhibitors, live demonstrations and seminars. There is something for all types of farmers, whether they run small or large operations.

New features this year include: Internal trams (six- to eight-passenger golf carts) running on the east and west main streets of Country Folks Way and Palladino Farm Way during the show as well as on two lanes that run north to south. Benches and water stations will be placed throughout the show for attendee use because there is a lot to see!

There will be a group of food trucks at Empire Farm Days for a great variety of quick food.

The food area will be near Gate 1, adjacent to the main show entrance, and will feature an express lane for grab-and-go items such as hot dogs, sausages and French fries, plus the ever-popular chicken barbecue and other barbecue specialties. A covered seating area will be on-site as well. The trams will have drop-offs and pick-ups near the food area.

One of Empire Farm Days’ new exhibitors will be showcasing an electric skid steer. FirstGreen Industries (at firstgreenindustries.com) is being brought by Northeast Equipment Connections. Come see what electric farm equipment can do!

Another new piece of equipment to check out is the compact articulated loader from Hummerbee (hummerbee.com). Small but mighty, this loader is a great skid steer alternative.

Overall, there will be more than 350 exhibitors on hand for the largest outdoor summer farm show in New York. There is something for any farmer, rural landowner and homesteader at Empire Farm Days.
