Seneca Falls, NY. Casella Organics has set the times for its daily Fiberlime™ field demonstrations at the 2016 Empire Farm Days to be held August 9, 10 and 11 at Rodman Lott and Sons Farms, 2973 Route 414, in Seneca Falls, NY. The demonstrations will take place daily at 10 am.

Fiberlime™ is recovered lime, clay and short paper fibers. The lime, in the form of calcium carbonate, is similar to the ground limestone rock that is commonly used to raise soil pH and add calcium for plant growth. The cellulose fiber helps improve soil structure.

“The field demonstrations at Empire Farm Days are the perfect venue for us to show how easy it is to apply Fiberlime™ through a standard manure spreader and to talk with farmers about how ideal this organic product is to nourish their soils, from topdressing hay fields or tilling into crop ground,” says James Lauro, Earthlife product specialist with Casella Organics, Clifton Park, NY.
